LMS World Languages

Grading:  Class participation, Homework, Quizzes, and Tests each count for 25% of the final grade.

Curriculum:

       8th grade French- we will cover a variety of topics, including new vocabulary, verbs, and tenses. By the end of this year, we will have covered everything that is included in the first year of most French programs! Students will be able to take one French credit to LHS!

        7th grade French- students will be introduced to new French vocabulary, including greetings, time and date, and so much more. Students will begin to learn important grammar points. This year covers the first half of a first year French program. Students will continue the program in 8th grade in order to receive a French credit.

        6th grade exploratory- This will be a world language exploratory class. Students will be introduced to basic French and Spanish vocabulary, as well as culture from Spanish and French speaking countries. Students will get a taste of world languages so that they can choose a language to study further in 7th and 8th grades.
